The reason is the Bangla texts are not Unicode encoded.
What you are doing is trying to copy bangla texts from Internet Explorer while viewing site like Prothom-alo. These sites are for viewing only, and only by IE. You cant get the text normally. However, there are tools to convert those pages/texts to Unicode form that would allow to save and edit.

Depending on the font of the specific site (Alpona or Boishakhi is most likely) you have collect a converter. Such tools are available online.

http://utsablog.blogspot.com/2006/06/bangl...akhi-bijoy.html
http://bnwebtools.sourceforge.net/
http://banglaconvert.bd.net

may help you.

You may also copy normally and save to a text file and then use Avro converter to convert to Unicode.

thanks
