Since WEFT Font embedding does not work in Mozilla and some other browsers, then how can someone make a bengali webpage which can be viewed properly in mozilla after installing the required font?

Even if the required font is installed in the computer, everytime to see a new page or after refreshing a page the character encoding has to be set to UTF-8 in mozilla by View -> Character Encoding -> UTF-8. Please tell me how to solve this?

I am working in a bengali version of a web portal and the solution of this problem is urgently needed...

Thanks.

Firefox supports direct font embedding using this rules (for example)-
@font-face {
font-family: "Matrix";
src: url(http://www.westciv.com/CSS3Tests/matrix.ttf) ;
}

This links will help you-

For using UTF-8 character set use this-
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />
