A few weeks ago, I downloaded a recent version of the Avro Keyboard on my office computer (I think it's the version 4.5.1). Since then, a peculiar thing seems to have happened: I find that I can no longer use many of the standard English-language fonts on Word properly. Vrinda (the English version) seems to have become the default font, and when I try to convert a block of text into some other font, such as Times New Roman or Calibri, I find I cannot do so: parts of the document remain in Vrinda or some other font. This is creating serious problems at work, since I work in a writing-intensive environment.



I tried to uninstall Vrinda from the "Fonts" section in the Control Panel, but you cannot even see Vrinda in the list of fonts there! Later, I uninstalled Avro using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature on the Control Panel, but when I hit the 'Remove' button, I got the following message: "the program has not been fully removed. There are still some files left that you have to remove manually." What files? Where do I find them? What are their names?



Meanwhile, Vrinda continues to show up and hijack my documents. Can anybody please tell me what to do? I'll be immensely grateful for your help.

PS: And could anybody please explain what's the connection between Avro and Vrinda anyway? Aren't they supposed to be autonomous functions? So confusing!

যখন ফায়ার ফক্স মোজিলা (৪) তে কোন বাংলা ওয়েব সাইটে লিখি, অনেক অক্ষর ঠিক মত আসছে না। যেমন, ট আসে , যদিও আমি লিখেছি ত। আবার ত এর এর পরে অন্য কোন অক্ষর লিখলে ত আসে। প্রতিবার আমাকে তাত লিখে ত আনতে হচ্ছে। এইটা কিসের সমস্যা?
