HI,
I can type bangla in MS Word but can't seem to type in Photoshop. I can select a Bangla font in Photoshop but then when I try to type, it displays funny characters.

Any ideas on how to fix this.

Photoshop not Unicode Enabled yet. That means photoshop not support 'UNICODE KEY-STROKE' but 'Avro Keyboard' sents Unicode data to a Application by sending 'UNICODE KEY-STROKE'. So you can't type any Unicode character [e.g. Bangla] directly in Photoshop with Avro Keyboard.

Type your desire text in notepad/wordpad then copy n paste it in Photpshop and set the correct font/s, I can't remeber photoshop can display unicode text or not. Give a try.


Another Note: Visual Basic 6.0 [VB6] dosn't support UNICODE KEY-STROKE' too. That's why any App developed by VB 6 can't process Unicode [e.g. Bangla] with external application like Avro Keyboard though Avro Keyboard developed by VB6! There is only one way to write Unicode enabaled application with VB6 is that using internal interface and a unicode complient text control.

আর অ্যাডোব পেজমেকার একটি মৃত সফটওয়্যার, এর সাপোর্টের কোনো প্রশ্ন-ই ওঠে না। তাই এর বদলে আমি Scribus ব্যবহার করছি। এটি মোটামুটি পেজমেকারের মতোই, তবে আরও উন্নত ফিচার্স রয়েছে। চমৎকার সব পেজ লে-আউট বের করা যায়। Scribus-এর ডাউনলোড লিঙ্ক http://sourceforge.net/projects/scribus/fi...ll.exe/download
